Dedicate Yourself to the Spiritual Life
“There is no higher endeavor than the aspiration to live the spiritual life, for that is your natural state. All is Spirit, spiritual Mind; there is no other Selfhood, no Presence but the One, yet the Truth may be hidden in a maze of false beliefs. Through commitment to the Light of Reality, misperceptions will be corrected and illumination inevitable.”
The aspiration to live the spiritual life, in the realm of Cause, is the highest endeavor because it is a part of the natural process, while ego-centered living is un-natural – a desertion of all that is good, true, and beautiful in life to forage for ourselves in the world of effects.
The decision-for-God must be unyielding; the determination to live in and as the only Self must be total. And while this may seem to be a near-impossible task because of our identification with the physical world, the fact that it is our highest aspiration in life will draw forth the very power of Spirit to reinforce the commitment-hour by hour, day by day, as necessary.
