Lesson 20 – Part 2
The Middle Path
There is a middle path we must walk, a path between self-glorification and spiritless subservience.
As we walk the middle path, we do so with an open mind and heart, knowing that the wisdom and understanding that we have – and which will increase even more – is from the Mind of God and not the arrogance of ego. We are centered in Spirit and find our strength there. We don’t depend on the external world for our good; we see everything for the good of all, we understand the will of God; and we know that Spirit could never forsake us. When it is necessary for us to keep our mouths shut, we will do so, and when it is appropriate for us to speak our truth, we will know that it is Truth itself speaking, and we shall not be fearful in expressing ourselves.
On the middle path, we are true to our Selves, the great and grand Self that we are. “It is easy to distinguish grandeur from grandiosity, because love is returned and pride is not. Pride will not produce miracles, and will therefore deprive you of the true witnesses to your reality.”
