Lesson 18
Know That Spirit Does Not Forsake
“The sun cannot reject its rays, the sea its waves. the All forever remains united as one, yet those with dispirited mind may fee separated from their source because through guilt they have forsaken Spirit as Cause. They have denied the only Power, loving Forgiveness and Benevolence in action.”
Spirit does not forsake it is the other way around. We give up on god when we don’t believe our prayers are answered – when nothing seems to work and every thing appears to be in limbo – or when we are so caught up in “this world” that we forget where the power is. That’s when we turn to the ego to “make things happen” – and we usually end up with a mouth full of ashes.
To interpret this lesson properly, we look once again to the truth that there is no place where we leave off and God begins, Soul and Spirit are one mind. Our conscious awareness of ourselves, life, and god is that one mind in a different vibration – in the recognition mode as distinguished from the IS mode. There is no separation; there never has been; all is God. We are as Jesus.
