Lesson 12 – part 2
Praying for money can limit the outpouring of the energy of abundance into manifest expression. Our prayers should be meditations for a deeper awareness of the Presence within, a greater understanding of the kingdom we’ve been given – the Ideal Abundance – and a clearer knowledge of how the law works.
The Presence is our reality.
The Kingdom we’ve been given is the allness of everything we could possibly desire. Within our consciousness are the ideas corresponding to everything in the physical world. One of these ideas is money, and Spirit as our consciousness is continually expressing Itself as visible supply. The process can only be stopped by the belief in scarcity.
Feelings of love and faith always override emotions of fear and doubt, and open the channel for the energy flow.
When we fear something, we are placing our faith in two powers. We believe that there is something or someone out there who has power over us and all prayers (we we are holding in consciousness) are answered in accordance to where the faith is place.
To paraphrase Paul, faith is the energy of that which is to be manifest. Therefore, when we focus our faith on our true Identity, on the kingdom that was given to us with great pleasure, and on the law-for-good that is eternally in operation, then we open ourselves to the wonderful experiences of life.
